Taking the order

Wherever the guest orders, it becomes one ticket.

A captain on a handheld, a cashier at the counter and an online order all create the same kind of order record. The kitchen sees one stream, not three.

  • Table service. Servers pick the table, add covers and send items course by course.
  • Counter and takeaway. Quick-key menus for fast punching, with token numbers for pickup.
  • Online and QR. Orders from your online channels and table QR menus drop straight into the queue.

Tracking the floor

See which table needs you before it waves.

The floor view shows every table's status and how long it has been seated. Tables waiting too long for their next course rise to the top of the list.

  • Turn time per table. Know your average turn by section and by hour, not just by the end of the night.
  • Move and merge. Shift a party to a bigger table or merge two tables without losing a single item.
  • Notes that travel. An allergy noted at the table shows on the kitchen ticket and the guest profile.

Built for service

The small things a busy floor needs.

Sections and covers

Map your floor by section and assign servers, with covers tracked per table.

Table QR ordering

Guests order from their phones and the ticket arrives already tagged to the table.

Course firing

Hold mains until starters clear, then fire with one tap from the floor.

Move, merge, split

Change tables or split a party mid-meal and keep the order history intact.

Item notes

No onion, extra spicy, nut allergy. Notes print on the ticket and save to the guest.

Turn-time reporting

Average time from seating to bill, by table, section, day part and server.

Questions

Asked at the pass.

Can we keep using our handheld devices?

Crustrol runs in the browser on Android tablets, iPads and most POS hardware, so existing handhelds usually work. We check your devices during the demo.

Do online orders need a separate screen?

No. Orders from connected online channels arrive in the same queue as dine-in orders and are clearly labelled by channel.

What happens if the internet drops during service?

Orders already on screen stay visible. We review your network setup during onboarding and recommend a backup connection for busy outlets.
