Restaurant data is commercially sensitive and guest data is personal. Here is plainly what we store, why, and how it is protected.

Each type of data has a job. If it does not help run your service, bill your guests or report on your business, we do not collect it.
Orders and tickets
What
Items, modifiers, notes, table, channel, timings at each stage

To run the order flow, kitchen queue and reports
Payments and bills
What
Amounts, tax lines, payment method, split details, references from your payment provider
Why
To bill, reconcile and produce invoices. Card numbers are handled by your payment provider, not stored by Crustrol.
Guest profiles
What
Name and phone number the guest shares, visit history, stated preferences, consent status
Why
For service and loyalty in your restaurant only
Menu and stock
What
Dishes, prices, recipes, ingredient quantities, wastage logs

Ownership
You own it. You can take it with you.
Your order, guest and sales data belongs to your restaurant. Crustrol processes it on your behalf to provide the service.
Export orders, bills, guest profiles, menu and stock data at any time from the dashboard. If you leave, you can take a full export and ask us to delete your account data.
Guest data is used for service and loyalty purposes only. It is never sold to third parties.
We do not use one restaurant's guest list to market to another restaurant, and we do not share guest profiles with advertisers or data brokers.
Protection
How we keep it safe, stated plainly.
Encryption
All traffic uses TLS. Stored data is encrypted at rest on our hosting infrastructure.
Role-based access
Staff only see the outlets, screens and actions their role allows.
Account security
Per-person logins, strong password rules and session timeouts on shared devices.
Audit trail
Voids, discounts, refunds and price changes are logged with who, when and why.
Backups
Regular automated backups so a bad day does not mean lost records.
Payment data
Card details are processed by your payment provider. Crustrol stores only references and amounts.
